The North American Energy Markets Association is posting this RFP on behalf of our member Tennessee Valley Authority.
TVA is seeking capacity and energy proposals between 50 MW to 1,000 MW for delivery periods beginning December 2026 through December 2031. Contract duration can vary from 1-month to several years. Proposed extensions of existing agreements with dispatchable generating resources interconnected with TVA’s transmission system are also requested; extension terms should be 5-15 years, not extending beyond 2046. This RFP is targeting existing power generation sites that can offer firm, dispatchable power such as natural gas, nuclear, hydro, or coal.
Proposals must be submitted by June 4, 2026. All proposals must be submitted through the Power Advocate portal as described in the link below.
