Published:February 8, 2022

NAEMA is providing the below RFP information on behalf of Missouri River Energy Services (MRES) and The Energy Authority (TEA):

Missouri River Energy Services (MRES) is an organization of 61 member municipalities with a geographic footprint that spans both the SPP and MISO markets. MRES is dedicated to supplying its members with reliable, cost-effective, long-term energy and energy services in a fiscally responsible and environmentally sensitive manner. MRES is seeking offers for multiple full-attribute renewable energy power purchase agreements (PPA), with the ability to retain or resell all energy, capacity, and renewable attributes of the proposed projects. Projects must be physically located within MISO load resource zones (LRZ) 1 or 3, to align with its load service obligations. Projects may be renewables only or coupled with a storage system. Key tenets of project consideration are project viability, price, congestion risk, equipment performance, and deliverability.

As a trusted public power affiliate, The Energy Authority (TEA) is the administrator for this Request for Proposals (RFP).
