ACES – Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation – RFP for MISO Energy and Capacity

The North American Energy Markets Association is posting this RFP on behalf of our member ACES and their client Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation.

On behalf of Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation (AECC), ACES is conducting a MISO Capacity and Energy Sources Request for Proposals (RFP). The purpose of the RFP is to solicit future capacity and energy supply needs for AECC in MISO.

Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation (AECC) is the wholesale power supplier for 17 electric distribution cooperative members (Member Cooperatives) throughout Arkansas. AECC’s jurisdictional loads interconnect with transmission systems under the functional control of either the Southwest Power Pool (SPP) Regional Transmission Organization (RTO) or the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) RTO. AECC’s Member Cooperatives’ loads within the MISO footprint are connected to, and dependent on, transmission systems owned by Entergy Arkansas, LLC. AECC is a load-serving entity (LSE) and market participant within MISO.
