The North American Energy Markets Association is posting this RFP on behalf of our member the Tennessee Valley Authorityh (“TVA”).
TVA is seeking offers for the following Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) to meet the North Carolina Clean Energy and Energy Efficiency Portfolio Standard for Compliance Year 2025 and beyond:
Up to 2,500 Swine RECs
7,500 Poultry RECs
70,000 Biomass or Solar RECs annually
Swine, Poultry, Biomass, and Solar RECs are associated with electricity generated by facilities properly registered with the state of North Carolina. Adding North Carolina Swine, Poultry, Biomass, and Solar RECs is one way TVA continues to support our nation’s farmers and generate the energy needed to create opportunities for hardworking American families. Interested parties should register on the Power Advocate platform no later than March 19, 2026.
