Senior Originator Structured Products
This position acts as TVA’s primary representative in developing and negotiating structured power contracts up to twenty years in length. The structured deals can be complex and include derivatives, inter-fuel components, and tolling arrangements. The position works closely with Risk Management, Transmission & Reliability Operations, Strategy & Business Planning, and other Power Origination partners in optimizing TVA’s power supply/demand and increasing TVA’s revenue. This includes deals involving purchases and other transactions for both internal and external customers and suppliers. Develops long-range implementation (long-lead time) readiness plans for future market conditions such as when restrictions are removed (TVA Act) and those dealing with Midwest Independent System Operator (MISO) and/or Regional Transmission Organization (RTO) environments.
