The North American Energy Markets Association is posting this RFP on behalf of our member ACES and their client Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation (AECC).
On behalf of Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation (AECC) ACES is conducting an all-source generation capacity and energy request for proposal.
AECC is issuing this All-Source Request for Proposals to seek additional capacity and generation resources to add to its portfolio in MISO. AECC needs additional resources up to 350 MW of firm capacity beginning December 1, 2025 through November 30, 2030. Beginning on December 1, 2030 these needs increase to 1,000 MW. AECC is the wholesale power supplier for 17 electric distribution cooperative members (Members) throughout Arkansas. AECC’s jurisdictional loads interconnect with transmission systems under the functional control of either the Southwest Power Pool (SPP) Regional Transmission Organization (RTO) or the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) RTO.
