The North American Energy Markets Association is posting this RFP on behalf of our member ACES and their client CORE Electric Cooperative.

On behalf of CORE Electric Cooperative (CORE), ACES is conducting a request for proposals for utility-scale renewable/zero-carbon generation and energy storage.
CORE Electric Cooperative is an electric distribution cooperative in Colorado serving more than 180,000 members across a service territory of approximately 5,000 square miles, primarily south of the Denver metropolitan area. CORE has retail sales of approximately 2.6 million MWh per year and a summer peak of above 700 MW. CORE is one of the largest electric distribution cooperatives in the United States. As a customer-owned cooperative, CORE operates on a not-for-profit basis; earnings exceeding expenses are invested in the facilities used to provide electric service and are booked as member equity. A portion of this equity is returned to members almost every year, as finances permit, through capital credit refunds.
