The North American Energy Markets Association is posting this RFP on behalf of our member ACES and their client MEAG.
On behalf of The Municipal Electric Authority of Georgia (MEAG Power), ACES is conducting an all-source generation capacity and energy request for proposal.
MEAG Power is issuing this All-Source Request for Proposals to seek additional generation resources to add to its portfolio for the reliable supply of electricity to its Participant public power communities. MEAG Power needs additional resources that can provide at least 375 MW of firm capacity by the summer of 2029 and an additional 75 MW of firm capacity by the summer of 2035. MEAG Power is a public generation and transmission not-for-profit corporation providing electric service to 49 Georgia public power communities by and through their elected governments, representing approximately 700,000 Georgia citizens.
