Ameren Missouri provides electric service to approximately 1.3 million electric customers and 135,000 natural gas customers across central and eastern Missouri. The company covers 60+ counties and 500+ communities, with a major focus on the greater St. Louis area, offering reliable energy services for over 100 years.
About the Process
Ameren Missouri has issued a 2026 MISO Capacity RFP to obtain a varying volume of seasonal Zonal Resource Credits (ZRCs) across Planning Years 2027/28 – 2030/31 (see Bid Forms for details.) Proposals will be evaluated based on criteria outlined in the attached 2026 MISO Capacity RFP Description. Ameren Missouri will consider only ZRC’s delivered to MISO Local Resource Zones 1-7, and will show some preference to ZRC’s delivered to Zone 5. Resources in external zones will not be accepted. Seasonal offers are strongly preferred, but offers for full Planning Years may be considered. If a selected counterparty has an existing Master Agreement with Ameren Missouri, the confirmation (final terms to be negotiated) will align with that Master Agreement. For selected counterparties with no existing Master Agreement, a long form confirmation will be negotiated.
