The North American Energy Markets Association is posting this RFP on behalf of our member Cooperative Energy.
Cooperative Energy is issuing this All-Source Request for Information on additional capacity and generation resources to add to its portfolio in MISO. Cooperative Energy needs additional resources up to 500 MW of firm capacity beginning June 1, 2026 and December 31, 2031. Cooperative Energy is the wholesale power supplier for 11 electric distribution cooperative members (Members) throughout Mississippi. Cooperative Energy’s jurisdictional loads interconnect with transmission systems under the functional control of either the Mississippi Power Company (MPCO) or the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) RTO.
