Dairyland RFP for Long Term Capacity

NAEMA is pleased to announce this RFP for our member Dairyland Power Cooperative (Dairyland).

Dairyland Power Cooperative (DPC) is accepting proposals from qualified and eligible “Respondents” for the purchase of Capacity and Dispatchable Energy for a minimum term of 10 years, beginning as soon as June 1, 2027. Nonbinding offers are due by close of business on January 26, 2024. All parties selected for further negotiations for purchase agreements will be contacted to discuss contract specifics within 21 days of bid submittal deadline.

DPC is a generation and transmission cooperative headquartered in La Crosse, WI. DPC provides electric power to 24-member distribution cooperatives located in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois as well as twenty-seven municipal utilities. DPC has approximately 1474 MW of generation either owned or under contract. DPC owns and operates over 3300 miles of transmission lines, operating principally at 69 kV and 161 kV. DPC is a member of the MISO Regional Transmission Organization (RTO).

Negotiations Complete and Contracts Awarded March 29, 2024

DPC reserves the right to extend or otherwise modify any portion of the schedule. DPC will notify all Respondents that have submitted Notice of Intent to Submit Proposal of any changes to the schedule that occur prior to the Bid Submittal Deadline.
