The below RFP information is posted at the request of Enel X on behalf of Central Arizona Water Conservation District.
Enel X is pleased to announce the upcoming Request for Proposals (“RFP”) on behalf of Central Arizona Water Conservation District (“CAWCD”) for structured power purchase agreements (“PPAs”).
RFP Overview
CAWCD will consider proposals associated with both new and existing generation. CAWCD will consider proposals for the following constructs:
1. Solar + Battery Storage Resources
2. Wind Resources
3. Gas Fired Generation Sources
4. Bidder-Proposed Constructs from Any Generation Sources
CAWCD will first accept competitive, indicative, offers via a sealed Excel-based Indicative Pricing Proposal Form (companion form to the Bidder Qualification Application) to be submitted by January 11, 2022. Following the evaluation of submitted indicative offers, CAWCD intends to issue a revised RFP containing a shortlist of desired product constructs before collecting competitive, executable, offers via an open Live Auction Round on Thursday, May 5, 2022.

Near-Term Perquisite Bidder Participation Requirement(s)
Bidders interested in participating within the CAWCD RFP process must complete and submit a Bidder Qualification Application and companion Indicative Pricing Proposal Form by 5:00 PM EPT on January 11, 2022. The Bidder Qualification Application and Indicative Proposal Pricing Form are both attached to this email and currently accessible on the CAWCD Announcement Webpage on the Enel X Platform.
