The below RFP information is being posted at the request of Evergy.
Evergy, Inc. is issuing this Request for Proposals to solicit offers from interested parties with the intent of securing proposals for the acquisition of long-term dispatchable renewable energy resources with a minimum size of 50 MW together with all associated environmental and renewable energy attributes. Only projects evaluated as being most economically beneficial to Evergy’s customers could potentially culminate in executed agreements. Preference will be given to solar projects that attain a Commercial Operation Date by June 1, 2023 but no later than Dec. 31, 2023.

Evergy has retained the services of an independent third-party consultant, 1898 & Co., a division of Burns and McDonnell, to help manage the RFP process. All Respondents will directly interface with 1898 & Co. for all communications including questions, RFP clarification issues, and Proposal submission.
