About Kaukauna Utilities:
KU is a community owned and operated electric and water utility, serving over 17,000 customers in the Kaukauna, WI area. The utility provides electric service to portions of the following communities: Kaukauna, Little Chute, Combined Locks, Wrightstown, Buchanan, Freedom, Holland, Oneida, and Vandenbroek.
KU owns and operates seven hydroelectric plants on the Fox River with a total nameplate capacity of approximately 31MWs and a natural gas combustion turbine with a nameplate capacity of 17.4MWs.
