RFI Overview
Xcel Energy Services, Inc. (“Xcel”) is committed to minimizing the methane emissions from its system and are interested in working with upstream companies to do the same on their systems.
In support of such, Xcel is soliciting supplier qualifications and indicative offers for low emission certified natural gas supplies on behalf of Northern States Power Company (“NSP”), Public Service Company of Colorado (“PSCO”), and Southwestern Public Service Company (“SPS”) that could be physically delivered to primary NSP, PSCO, and/or SPS receipt points.
RFI Process
Xcel seeks to first conduct a structured non-binding Request for Information (“RFI”) before potentially pursuing executable proposals via a structured Request for Proposals (“RFP”).
Xcel invites your company (“Bidder” or “Supplier”) to submit qualifications and indicative low emission certified natural gas supply offers via a structured Notice of Intent document due to Enel X on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 by 2:00 PM MT.
Enel X will administer this RFI on behalf of Xcel and utilize its online platform, the Enel X Auction Platform, to host relevant RFI materials.
