NCMPA1 is seeking long-term capacity and energy resources to supplement its power supply and meet future needs up to the amounts detailed in the RFP document. NCMPA1 will consider a variety of wholesale power offtake structures including, but not limited to, partial-requirements, block power, and offtake or joint ownership in new and existing resources. NCMPA1 will also consider solar and/or battery resources. The current contracts between NCMPA1 and its 19 members run through December 31, 2043. NCMPA1 has a desire to enter into agreements with projects located inside and/or have deliverability into the DEC balancing area.
