WAPA CRSP Request for Proposal –Purchase of Firm Energy and Capacity for the NNSA

The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), a federal power marketing agency of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), through the Colorado River Storage Project Region (CRSP) is soliciting proposals on behalf of DOE’s National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) in Albuquerque, New Mexico for up to 55 MW of Firm Capacity and Energy from electric energy vendors.  The proposed contract must begin on January 1, 2026, and go through December 31, 2028. Each calendar year has different supply blocks and timing. See section 3 of the RFP document for specifics.
