NAEMA is providing the below Request for Proposals (“RFP”) information on behalf of our member Heartland Energy.
Overview:
Heartland Energy is accepting proposals from selling parties to purchase MISO Zone 1 delivered capacity starting with the upcoming MISO 2023/2024 planning year. Heartland provides electric power and energy to its customers in South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and Nebraska from generation it owns or has contracted from others. Heartland is a load serving entity in the Southwest Power Pool and the Midcontinent Independent System Operator.
